By enrolling in the Apple Developer Program as an individual or organization, you can distribute your app on App Store for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and iMessage. Here, we’ll guide you on how to enroll for the Apple Developer Account program as well as invite Montu (publish@montuapps.com) as an admin to your account.

Individual: Your personal legal name will be listed as the seller on the App Store when you enroll yourself in the Apple Developer program.

Note: Enter your legal name correctly. Do not enter any nickname, last name, first name, or company name as it will delay your enrollment.

Company/Organization: If you’re an employee in a company, nonprofit, partnership, or government organization, you have to list the legal entity name as the seller on the App Store. You’ll be asked for the legal entity name and the D-U-N-S Number as a part of the verification process. Once you’re added as a member, you can add members to your team for the program.

💡Important Note

  • To upload apps created on Montu, you need to register as Company /Organization.

  • Montu does not support “Individual” Apple Developer accounts.

  • You can change your developer account from individual to company/organization.
